The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics is redefining the way musculoskeletal care is delivered across the region with locations throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Kira Davis has been practicing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy for over 19 years in the metropolitan Washington, DC area.
Ms. Davis has completed clinical internships throughout DC, Maryland and her hometown of New York City. She has experience with many sports injuries, having participated in the student athletic trainers program during her undergraduate career. She is also an avid soccer player on local womens and coed teams. She continues to further her education and practical skills by regularly attending continuing education courses, seminars, and conferences.
Ms. Davis has been trained in classical dance since the age of 3 and continues to spend much of her time passionately training in various dance studios in the area. She has attended multiple continuing education courses offered by the Harkness Institute of Dance with topics on the prevention and treatment of dance injuries.
With a close and personal understanding of the dancers’ body type along with the specificity of their movements and function, she strives to be one of the area’s elite physical therapists for the dance community.
